Purchased from the Elite Auction in Verden ,Dornkaart was imported in 2006.

Last year in his first two competitions he qualified for DWTS . Even thought we did not make the trip to Vic dure to other commitments we were thrilled with his efforts scoring 68.4% and upward .So far this year he has one outing to the AWHA Gala day & Hawkesbury Dressage .He won lovely prizes on the Saturday at the AWHA day .... thanks to the wonderful sponsors. Sunday he had two tests , his first Novice and a Preliminary. He won both , the novice 67.188% and prelim 65.455%.Unfortunately we have not been able to campaign him more this year due to other business commitments.

2011

Shows how quickly  they move through the ranks when they are good !! Since the comments above were made last year Dornkaart has become approved with the AWHA and gained their Premium award for 2011.He is now teamed up with Mel Van Den Berge . With the new combination has come lots of exciting achievements.Scores in the 70's in both Novice & Elementary seem to be happening a lot. He has finished his first serious competition year at the Nationals coming 7th overall in Elementary with some fantastic comments. The icing on the cake for Karingal for 2011 is that Dornkaart & Mel have been selected on the futures squad . So here is to the future, may he fulfil his amazing potential.

We think there will be many more great competitions ahead.
